Deraso Dokhole

Deraso Dokhole is a co-founder of Highway Education a Canadian-Kenyan organization that functions in Kenya and Somalia , founder of 'A day as a refugee' which focuses on refugee education, Legal adviser and head of women programs at WEP Kenya.
She is a certified professional mediator under the Kenyan courts, a lawyer and finally a certified young diplomat under the Young Diplomatic forum.She has been able to work with refugees around East Africa and conducted refugee research in Scotland ( Scottish Refugee Council) and Washington DC ( The George Washington university). Recently appointed to present on refugee protection at The African Union The 8th high level dialogue theme on refugees.
